• Supports the Chairperson with internal operations and external relations.

• Acts as the President of Supreme Council by ensuring healthy relationship with the representatives of Malaysian Societies.

• Looks into developing greater engagement with student societies by working on new initiatives that can better assist these societies.

• Ensures smooth operation of the council.
• Oversees all council work and projects and the delegation of tasks to the Executive Council members.
• Handles external enquiries and emails.
• Organises UKEC’s Ordinary General Meeting as well as the Annual General Meeting.
• In charge of producing templates and forms, meeting minutes, organising paperwork and documents and producing UKEC’s Annual Report.

• Handles the finances and maintains relationship with sponsors.
• Responsible for the organization’s financial statements.
• Allocates and distributes funds for each of the branch.
• Ensures the sustainability of UKEC’s fundings for daily operations and flagship events.

• Act as the career arm of UKEC.
• Aims to tackle Malaysia’s brain drain problem.
• Improves the employability of Malaysian students studying in the UK and Ireland. 
• Spearheads UKEC-GRADUAN The Malaysian Career Fair in London.
• Creating a platform for exclusive employability opportunities through Corporate Luncheon
• Improves the employability of Malaysian students studying in the UK and Ireland through regional career events

Incumbent: Lim Chai Jin,
MBChB Medicine, University of Sheffield

• Ensuring adequate welfare of Malaysian-based societies and Malaysian students studying across the UK and Ireland.
• Provides a platform for the Malaysian students to give back to the community by instilling the spirit of volunteerism. 
• Responsible for the council’s welfare by ensuring the wellbeing of council members.
• Assists Secretariat Office with task delegation to ensure it is balanced amongst council members.
• Spearheads UKEC’s [i]MPACT Stories and Regional Care for All Events

• Provide platforms for intellectual discussions and promote a culture of open discourse amongst students.
• Elevate youth voices to influence decision-making regarding Malaysian issues.
• Raise awareness and understanding on current issues to shape an informed and educated youth.
• Spearheads Projek Amanat Negara, one of UKEC’s flagship event.
• Oversees CEKU articles publication.
• Organises regional events known as “Coffee and Conversations” to stimulate intellectual discourse

• Ensures constant communication and outreach to students via social media platforms.
• Provides consistency to brand promotion.
• Promotes our events through digital marketing.
• Advises and facilitates your respective team members in designing posters, newsletters as well as creating videos and updating information on the website.
